Band Members Wanted

I'm a singer-songwriter in Central Florida putting a small band behind original songs. Alt-country and swamp rock. House concerts and small stages. Not a cover gig. I'm putting together a live sound throwdown machine. If that vibes with you, keep reading.

Bass and guitar are the open seats. If you play something else that fits these songs, drums, keys, pedal steel, harmony vocals, I want to hear from you too.

The players packet

  • Demos of the songs we'd start with. Rough recordings. Sound and feel, not final production.
  • Chord charts for those same songs, so you can play along before we ever meet.

Open the folder

No sign-in needed. Listen to two or three. If the songs land for you, pull up the charts and play along, then call or write.

Rehearsals

We rehearse at least once a week. That's the commitment I'm asking for, and the one I'm making back.

Charts and demos go out ahead of time, so rehearsal is for playing, not for learning the material. One solid weekly rehearsal with everyone showing up prepared beats three loose ones. When a show is on the calendar, expect a run-through that week.

What I'm listening for

  • Solid time and good ears.
  • Taste over flash. Space is part of the arrangement, so the parts that stay out of the way matter as much as the ones that don't.
  • Your own gear and your own way to get to rehearsal.
  • Harmony vocals are a plus on any instrument, not a requirement.
